Moberly has gone a perfect 4-0 against Smithton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Moberly will look to defend their home pitch against Smithton at 5:00 p.m. Moberly will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Moberly is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: Kirksville, who was ranked fifth at the time (Moberly was ranked second). Moberly put the hurt on Kirksville with a sharp 5-1 win on Monday. Ella Mathes was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Moberly used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Kirksville. Harper Crist played for 80 minutes having averaged 44 this season. Zaylee Heaton made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, Smithton came up short against Odessa last Tuesday, falling 5-2. Smithton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moberly's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three games. As for Smithton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Moberly's way against Smithton in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Moberly made off with a 5-0 victory. Does Moberly have another victory up their sleeve, or will Smithton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
