Coastal HomeSchool not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 7th (when they won 52-27). They put the hurt on the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins with a sharp 43-22 win. The Hurricanes' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Coastal HomeSchool can attribute much of their success to Abbie Litchfield, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlan Boggs, who posted 13 points and three steals.
Several Dolphins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kate Pagan, who had 11 points and four steals. Sophie Moe was another key player, putting up two points in addition to 11 boards and three steals.
The victory got Coastal HomeSchool back to even at 3-3.
Coastal HomeSchool has already played their next matchup, a 40-33 defeat against Faith Baptist Christian Academy on the 18th. As for Hilton Head Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-26 loss against Bulloch Academy on the 24th.
