The Charlotte Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 69-37 loss at the hands of Sabinal. If Charlotte was looking for revenge after losing 76-32 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Ricardo Perez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sabinal, scoring 33 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perez has scored all season. Joseph Contreras was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Charlotte dropped their record down to 5-24 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Sabinal, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-11.
Charlotte will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. La Pryor comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Sabinal, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Stacey has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three matches.
