The Jesuit Tigers extended their postseason success on Friday against the Northeast Vikings. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Vikings 38-7 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Jesuit who now have nine in a row.
Jesuit was led to victory by Will Griffin and Willy Suarez. Griffin threw for 297 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, while Suarez gained 171 total yards and four touchdowns. Griffin has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
Jesuit pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.9 points per game. As for Northeast, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
Jesuit will stay at home for another week and welcome Gaither at 7:30 p.m. on November 24th. Gaither is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
