Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thomas Worthington). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 62-26 victory over the South Bulldogs. The win was some much needed relief for the CARDINALS as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Thomas Worthington's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Thomas Worthington and Westerville Central will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northland at 12:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. South is facing Northland at the right time seeing as Northland is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
