The Northampton County Jaguars can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They claimed a resounding 63-18 win over Wilson Prep at home. The win was nothing new for Northampton County as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Northampton County had a senior duo take command as Michaela Hodge scored 19 points along with six rebounds and six blocks and Charlice Tyner scored eight points along with nine steals and five assists. Hodge is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyra Vincent, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Northampton County pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Wilson Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northampton County will take on Northwest Halifax at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilson Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Farmville Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
