It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Boca Raton had no problem doing just that on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-12 win over the Braddock Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Bulls sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Tayegan Briskey was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025. Cristian Goncalves was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
West Boca Raton's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Braddock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-11.
Coming up, West Boca Raton will square off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulls 3.4, the Raiders 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Braddock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
