Skyview put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They rang in the new year with a 65-54 victory over the Vallivue Falcons. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 76-62 loss the last time these two teams met.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dominik Betancourt, who posted 13 points. Noah Mitchell was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points and seven rebounds.

Skyview pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Vallivue, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Skyview will face off against Middleton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Skyview's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Vallivue, they will take on Nampa at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Vallivue is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62 points per game this season.
