Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Northview's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

While Northview didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged out the Chamblee Bulldogs 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on August 12th, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Northview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Northview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. As for Chamblee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will welcome Lambert at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chamblee, they will be playing at home against Decatur at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give Chamblee their first taste of in-conference action this season.
