Sacred Heart Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. Three players got more time on the court than they're used to: Promesse Rwigamba (28), Olivia Mistretta (20), and Grace Murphy (21). The trio had averaged 8.91, 7.57, and 9.29 minutes respectively before Tuesday's match. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Rwigamba scored ten points along with four steals, while she scored seven points along with two steals.
Mount Mercy Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Sacred Heart Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
