The Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks will take on the Wewahitchka Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Port St. Joe is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
On Thursday, Port St. Joe was able to grind out a solid victory over Blountstown, taking the game 5-2.

Brooklyn Bishop made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double.
In other batting news, Brooke Peacock was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. Elli Newman was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Wewahitchka got themselves on the board against St. John Paul II on Thursday, but St. John Paul II never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 12-0 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Gators' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Lauren Brant was a standout: she scored a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Paityn Suber, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Wewahitchka's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Port St. Joe, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
Wewahitchka's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Port St. Joe hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .366. It's a different story for Wewahitchka, though, as they've only averaged .243. Will they be able to contain Port St. Joe's hitters?
Everything went Port St. Joe's way against Wewahitchka in their previous meeting back in February, as Port St. Joe made off with a 10-0 victory. Will Port St. Joe repeat their success, or does Wewahitchka has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
