The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (New Way Learning Academy is ranked 141st, while Caurus Academy is ranked 132nd).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-20, which was the final score in New Way Learning Academy's tilt against Tri-City Christian Academy back in December of 2023. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points New Way Learning Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, after only 13 points in their last match, Caurus Academy made sure to put some points up on the board against Orme on Thursday. Caurus Academy took down Orme 56-41.
New Way Learning Academy's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Caurus Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
New Way Learning Academy came up short against Caurus Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, falling 54-46. Can New Way Learning Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
