The Laurel Highlands Mustangs's 25-4 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seneca Valley on Friday.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Black, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antwan Black, who scored 13 points.
Laurel Highlands now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Seneca Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Laurel Highlands will face off against West Mifflin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Seneca Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Fox Chapel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
