The Living Water Homeschool Marlins lost against the Columbus HomeSchool Hawks back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Living Water Homeschool took a hard 65-46 fall against Columbus HomeSchool. While losing is never fun, Living Water Homeschool can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while Columbus HomeSchool is ranked 47th).
Kaden Greenlee was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with 8 assists and 6 rebounds for Columbus HomeSchool. That makes it three consecutive games in which Greenlee has scored at least 25% of Columbus HomeSchool's points. Jackson Salsbery was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 5 rebounds.
Living Water Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Columbus HomeSchool, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Living Water Homeschool has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Emmanuel Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. Columbus HomeSchool will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bluegrass United at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
