This season hasn't been kind to the Harry S. Truman Tigers, who are still winless after their fifth match. They took a 71-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bensalem on Friday. While losing is never fun, Harry S. Truman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 617th, while Bensalem is ranked 92nd).
Amir Drummond was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with five assists and four steals for Bensalem. That's the first time this season that Drummond scored 15 or more points. Antonio Morris was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Harry S. Truman's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Bensalem, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Harry S. Truman will be home for the holidays to greet Council Rock South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Council Rock South is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Bensalem won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bayard Rustin at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th.
