The Bothell Cougars's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 win over Eastlake. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bothell also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Jaylen Mclaughlin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Blake Skinner, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Eastlake still got an impressive performance from Kaleb Dehaan, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Grady Woodward was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds.
Bothell's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Eastlake, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Bothell will head out on the road to take on Gig Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Gig Harbor presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bothell in Washington (Gig Harbor is ranked 50th, while Bothell is ranked 218th). As for Eastlake, they will play host again and welcome Lynnwood, where tip off is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Lynnwood is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
