The J.L. Mann Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Clover Blue Eagles at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 On Friday, J.L. Mann came up short against Mauldin  and fell  11-7.
  Luke Jones and  Bryce Harder stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Jones  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  RBI,  and a  double, while  Harder  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.  Collin Crane was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Clover, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Wednesday. They won by a  run and slipped past York  4-3.
 Clover's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Aiden Smith, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 J.L. Mann has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost seven of their last nine matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record  this season. As for Clover, their victory bumped their record up to 12-14.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. J.L. Mann has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.6  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Clover struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.4. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
