Everything went their way against the Temple Christian Pioneers as they made off with a 16-5 win. The Polar Bears haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

As for Temple Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. They have struggled against Hardin Northern recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

For Temple Christian's part, Preston Kirk was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was Kirk's first of the season.
