The Beaver Dam Golden Beavers will face off against the Watertown Goslings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Beaver Dam comes in on three and Watertown on eight.
Beaver Dam's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Saturday, when they got past Oconomowoc's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Golden Beavers were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Raccoons.
Addy Damon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kendall Fakes, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mady Bryant, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Beaver Dam kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive contests.
Oregon typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Watertown proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Goslings have posted since April 24th.
Watertown also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Cali Craig gave up four earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, Breanna Meracle was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Allison Howlett was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
Watertown pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Beaver Dam, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
Both Beaver Dam and Watertown just can't seem to miss. The Golden Beavers have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. However, it's not like Watertown struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Beaver Dam couldn't quite get it done against Watertown in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 3-0. Will the Golden Beavers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
