Tee Smith was his usual excellent self, throwing for 375 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 60 yards and one score. Those 375 passing yards gave him a new career-high.

Salpointe Catholic's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rj Gory, who picked up 232 receiving yards and one TD. Gory really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayce Alvarez, who threw for 301 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt.
Casteel's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Salpointe Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Looking ahead, Casteel will square off against Centennial at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Salpointe Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
