Lincoln Southeast can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 78-50 victory over Lincoln High. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Lincoln Southeast has posted since December 22, 2023.
It was another big night for Moore, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Deng Giet, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lincoln East's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 74-58 to Kearney. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Lincoln East's loss came about despite a quality game from Mick, who scored 26 points along with two steals. That was a full 44.8% of Lincoln East's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Quin Weatherholt, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
