Rowland Hall has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the St. Joseph Jayhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Rowland Hall focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Rowland Hall ended up a good deal behind Waterford and lost 42-25.
Despite the defeat, Rowland Hall got a solid performance out of Quinn Orgain, who scored seven points along with two blocks. That's the first time this season that Orgain posted two or more blocks.
St. Joseph can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 36-22 win over Waterford.
Rowland Hall's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.8 points per game. As for St. Joseph, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.
Rowland Hall skirted past St. Joseph 33-30 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Will Rowland Hall repeat their success, or does St. Joseph have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
