The Idaho City Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Kamiah Kubs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Idaho City was fully in charge, breezing past Rimrock 60-20 on the road. The win was just what Idaho City needed coming off of a 48-14 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Kamiah faced Potlatch in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Kamiah didn't even let Potlatch onto the board and left with a 28-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for Kamiah, who have now won seven contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Kamiah can attribute much of their success to Connor Weddle, who rushed for 109 yards on only 13 carries, and Dave Kludt, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Idaho City's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Kamiah, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
