Carmichaels scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by the West Greene Pioneers 74-45. The Mighty Mikes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-19.

Lane Allison continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for West Greene, going 10 for 14 on his way to 23 points in addition to six assists and three steals. The dominant performance gave Allison a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Patrick Durbin, who made all 5 shots he took to post 15 points.

Carmichaels' loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for West Greene, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
