Lakeview has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jamestown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Lakeview will look to defend their home field against Jamestown at 4:15 p.m. The timing is sure in Lakeview's favor as the team sits on nine straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Jamestown has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Jamestown's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Lakeview hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. Lakeview didn't even let West Branch on the board on Saturday, marking Lakeview's second-straight 11-0 shutout.

Maddox Bell and Lucas Fagley made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Bell pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Fagley didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. At bat, Bell went 3-for-4 with three RBI, while Fagley scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. What's more, Fagley posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Parker Montgomery was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Cody Fagley was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base.

Lakeview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Branch only posted an OBP of .250.

Meanwhile, Jamestown lost 19-4 to Maplewood on Monday.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Jamestown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Lakeview's way against Jamestown in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Lakeview made off with an 18-1 win. Does Lakeview have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jamestown turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
