Twin Lakes won the last time they faced Delphi Community and things went their way on Friday too. The Indians breezed past the Oracles to the tune of 41-6. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Indians just coasted through the last quarter.

Cooper Dold was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 358 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt. Those 358 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Mason Brummett was Dold's top target, picking up 98 receiving yards and one score, while also punching in one TD on the ground.

Twin Lakes didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Delphi Community to a completion percentage of just 43.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Ledger Shaffer, Cheyenne Vanweelden, and Dj Guthrie, who each logged one passes deflected. Twin Lakes wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 67.7%.

Twin Lakes didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ben Hodgen, Shaffer, and Vanweelden picked up one apiece. Twin Lakes got some further help from Matthew (Chewie) Walters: he made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

When it comes to explaining why Delphi Community lost, don't look at Logan Smith. Despite the final result, he picked up 94 receiving yards, and also punched in one rushing score.

Twin Lakes has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 40.0 points this season. As for Delphi Community, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
