The Heritage Christian Athletics Falcons were the 51-26 winner over the Joshua Christian Knights when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Heritage Christian Athletics was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 28-27 to Joshua Christian. Heritage Christian Athletics has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Joshua Christian was led to victory by Addyson Archer and Riley Hanks. Archer dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Hanks scored 13 points along with four blocks. The game was Hanks' fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Heritage Christian Athletics now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Joshua Christian, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian Athletics will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Nazarene Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 18, 2024. As for Joshua Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
