Leading Lafayette County to victory were Zhyqkis Jackson and Ty Palermo. Jackson scored 21 points, while Palermo dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Lafayette County's points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Walters, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Mount Ida's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lafayette County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

As for Lafayette County, they will be playing at home against Mineral Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mineral Springs has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 213 points over their last three matches.
