There's no place like home for Bryan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Benson Bunnies 14-4 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Turner Marlowe was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Marlowe was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Bryce Urban was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Jacob Lang was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Bryan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.2.

Bryan's record now sits at 4-9. As for Benson, their loss was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.

Bryan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Papillion-LaVista on the 14th. As for Benson, they will head out to take on Auburn at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st.
