Elliot Christian extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jeremy Nielsen. The Elliot Christian Eagles came out on top against the Humphreys Able Charter Legacy by a score of 57-50 on Monday thanks in part to Nielsen, who went 11 for 23 on his way to 29 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Elliot Christian's points.

Kaden Kirby was another key player, putting up no points in addition to 15 boards and four steals. He is becoming a predictor of Elliot Christian's success: when he posts at least eight rebounds the team is 2-1 (and 5-8 when he doesn't).

Despite the defeat, Humphreys Able Charter saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Khamseng Milavong posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Thompson, who had ten points.

Elliot Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Humphreys Able Charter, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Elliot Christian has already played their next match, a 68-52 loss against Vanguard College Prep on the 14th. As for Humphreys Able Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-31 victory against Tioga on the 14th.
