The Chelsea Academy Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Immanuel Christian Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chelsea Academy has three straight wins, Immanuel Christian has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Chelsea Academy earned a 50-40 win over Trinity at Meadow View.
Meanwhile, Immanuel Christian took a serious blow against Christ Chapel Academy on Friday, falling 60-30. While losing is never fun, Immanuel Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 384th, while Christ Chapel Academy is ranked 165th).
Chelsea Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-7. As for Immanuel Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Chelsea Academy against Immanuel Christian in their previous matchup back in November of 2023 as the squad secured a 57-14 win.
