The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.
  Brianna Rayl was  incredible,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with four  stolen bases, four  runs,  and two  triples.  Piper St. George was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
Meanwhile,  Reese unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Bad Axe by a score of  7-6. Rockets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Hatchets since  on Thursday.
  Jaidyn VanOchten made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ashtyn Frost, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
