 In other batting news,  Julian Snidow and  Parker Shannon stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Snidow  went 3-for-5 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base, while  Shannon  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Snidow has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Matthew Johnson, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
Jefferson Christian Academy's defeat was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 2-6. Those  home  losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.8 runs over those games.
