The Lindbergh Eagles will face off against the Evergreen Wolverines at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Lindbergh is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
On Saturday, Lindbergh made easy work of Renton and carried off an 18-8 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Red Hawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Isaiah Soto-Hernandez was a standout: he got on base in all six of his plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. He has become a key player for Lindbergh: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Tyson Glenn-Thomas, who went 5-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Lindbergh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Evergreen has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.83 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 11-3 to Interlake. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Tycean Martin was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Martin was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
In other batting news, Riley Coughlin was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
Lindbergh pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Evergreen, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Lindbergh has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Evergreen struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Lindbergh couldn't quite get it done against Evergreen in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 9-6. Will the Eagles have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
