Volleyball Recap: Cheney's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Cheney won the last time they faced Kingman, and Lucy Fouquet did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cardinals came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Fouquet, who had 14 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

While Cheney won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-12.

Cheney's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for Kingman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Cheney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Inman on the 13th. As for Kingman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Haven on the 13th.
