On Tuesday Central Davidson's undefeated season almost came to an end. They never let the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The one-run effort marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Central Davidson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
