Pipestone has gone 9-1 against Jackson County Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Arrows will challenge the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Pipestone sitting on three straight wins and Jackson County Central on eight (dating back to last season).
Pipestone came out on top against Luverne on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run sixth inning. The Arrows put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 14-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Arrows, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Mariah Moeller spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Amyra Mahik was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Kaysa Douty was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
Pipestone always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .553 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson County Central). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Blue Earth a 33-0 shutout on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Jackson County Central's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Pipestone, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Pipestone took their win against Jackson County Central when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Arrows since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
