Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Truman). They claimed a resounding 42-6 win over the Cardozo Judges. With the Mustangs ahead 34-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Truman's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Cardozo, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Truman is set to challenge their familiar foe McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech at 12:00 p.m. on the 9th. Meanwhile, Cardozo will take on rival John Adams on the 9th.
