The Greenville Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 77-35 defeat at the hands of Cleveland Central. Greenville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Laderrius Hunter, who scored five points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamarion Rhodes, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Greenville has been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Cleveland Central, their victory bumped their record up to 21-8.
Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cleveland Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
