Tri-State Crusaders lost to Varsity Opponent back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The King's Crusaders blew past Varsity Opponent 60-6.
A big part of Tri-State Crusaders' win came down to the chemistry between Garrett Black and his top target Donovan Sproul. Black threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes while Sproul gained 187 total yards and five touchdowns. Sproul really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards. Tri-State Crusaders also got a significant boost from Elias Kroeker, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 100 yards.
