Last Friday, Olathe North put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They blew past Lawrence 48-23. No one put up better numbers for Olathe North than senior Daymonn Sanchez`, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 283 yards and 5 touchdowns. That makes it seven straight good games in a row from Sanchez`.
Meanwhile, Northwest received a tough blow as they fell 21-38 to South.
Olathe North's victory lifted them to 5-2 while Northwest's loss dropped them down to 1-6. Olathe North defense got after the quarterback against Lawrence to the tune of six sacks, so Northwest's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the contest.
