Bradley Breland Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Bradley Breland produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Kiefer to the win on Friday. Breland rushed for 278 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (119.2). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
On the season, Breland has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 119.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 49 rushing yards per game.

Carson Payne produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Heavener to the win on Friday. Payne's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 115 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards.
On the year, Payne has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 134.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging two rushing yards per game.

Zaid Rodriguez Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Heavener got the W thanks in part to Zaid Rodriguez playing the best football he has all season. Rodriguez threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown.
This season, Rodriguez has thrown 4 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 78.8 passing yards per game.

Hugo Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Quincy Shelton
Quincy Shelton was instrumental in extending Hugo's winning streak to five on Friday. Shelton did his part (and then some), picking up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
Hugo pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Shelton and Hugo will face off against Kiefer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Ezra Powis Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Thursday, Bethel had to settle for second even though Ezra Powis put up the best numbers he has all season. Powis rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 74 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Bethel and nudges their season record down to 2-4. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats takes on Harrah at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
