South Beloit hadn't done well against Alden-Hebron recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Sobos were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Green Giants. The game marked the Sobos' most dominant win of the season.

Cesar Alfaro was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Jonah Martinez, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Alfaro wasn't the only one making solid contact: South Beloit kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive matchups.

South Beloit's record is now 8-4. As for Alden-Hebron, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

South Beloit will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Green Giants: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
