Newell have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Lemmon/McIntosh on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Newell are limping into the match on a five-game losing streak.
Newell took a serious blow against New Underwood two weeks ago, falling 6-60.
Meanwhile, if Lemmon/McIntosh were riding high off their 48-0 takedown of Dupree three weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Lemmon/McIntosh were given a punishing 6-74 loss at the hands of Timber Lake. Lemmon/McIntosh's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.
Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
