After only eight points in their last game, The Poly Engineers made sure to put some points up on the board against the Patterson Clippers on Saturday. Poly came out on top against Patterson by a score of 32-20. That's another feather in the cap for Poly, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Poly's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Patterson, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5.
Poly is on the road again on Saturday and play against City College at 12:00 p.m. on October 28th. As for Patterson, they will square off against Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Mergenthaler Vo-Tech presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Patterson in Maryland (Mergenthaler Vo-Tech is ranked 48th, while Patterson is ranked 201st).
