 Meanwhile,  Saranac unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost  3-0 to Beekmantown.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16,  25-12.
 Lake Placid's victory  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-11. As for Saranac, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
