The Blessed Trinity Titans won the last time they faced the Roswell Hornets, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Blessed Trinity enjoyed a cozy 55-36 win over the Hornets. The win made it back-to-back wins for Blessed Trinity.
Roswell's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Gonda, who scored 13 points along with three steals and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Lumsden, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Roswell struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Blessed Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Roswell, they dropped their record down to 8-16 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Pope the next time they take the court. Roswell will host Pope at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Blessed Trinity will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
