Lancaster came tearing into Tuesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Westerville South Wildcats 11-3. The result was nothing new for the Golden Gales, who have now won ten contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lancaster pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Westerville South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
