If Clinton School were feeling good off their 56-32 takedown of Lab Museum United last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Clinton School fell 51-40 to Adams Street Academy on Tuesday. Clinton School was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Adams Street Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Despite the loss, Clinton School still got an impressive performance from Jaya Kelly, who scored 20 points. Kelly continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sofia Tokarczyk, who scored four points along with 17 rebounds.
Clinton School's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Adams Street Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Clinton School will head out on the road to face off against Bard at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bard will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Clinton School is ranked 26th). Adams Street Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Van Arsdale at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
