Bayless have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Affton at 4:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-74, which was the final score in Bayless's tilt against Lift for Life Academy two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Affton were able to grind out a solid win over University City last week, winning 23-16.
Affton's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Bayless's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Affton can add another positive mark to their record or if Bayless can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Affton's step.
